Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Hetk ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

The Service is provided by Hetk Technologies OÜ, registered in Estonia (Registry Code: 17181483).

Description of Service

Hetk provides:

  • Calendar synchronization across Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, and Apple iCloud
  • Booking pages for scheduling meetings (Professional tier)
  • Availability management across multiple calendars
  • Notifications and reminders

Eligibility

To use Hetk, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Be legally capable of entering into a binding contract
  • Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law

Account Registration

Creating an Account

You register using OAuth authentication with Google, Microsoft, or Apple. You must:

  • Provide accurate authentication information
  • Maintain the security of your connected accounts
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activity under your account. We recommend:

  • Reviewing connected calendar permissions regularly
  • Revoking access if you suspect unauthorized use

Subscription and Billing

Free Trial

  • 21-day free trial with full feature access
  • No payment information required to start
  • Trial converts to paid subscription if not cancelled

Pricing Tiers

PERSONAL - $15/year

  • Up to 3 calendars
  • Bi-directional sync
  • Privacy controls

PROFESSIONAL - $50/year

  • Up to 8 calendars
  • Booking pages
  • Custom branding
  • API access

Early Adopter Pricing

First 1,000 customers receive discounted rates:

  • Personal: $10/year (instead of $15)
  • Professional: $35/year (instead of $50)

Early adopter pricing is locked permanently for qualifying accounts.

Billing

  • Annual billing cycle
  • Payments processed securely via Stripe
  • Automatic renewal unless cancelled
  • Price changes announced 30 days in advance

Refunds

  • Trial Period: No charge, cancel anytime
  • After Subscription: No refunds for partial periods after subscription starts
  • Exceptions: Technical failures preventing service use may qualify for pro-rated refunds at our discretion

Acceptable Use

Permitted Uses

  • Synchronizing your own calendars
  • Creating booking pages for legitimate scheduling
  • Integrating with supported calendar providers

Prohibited Uses

You may NOT:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or decompile the Service
  • Access other users' data without authorization
  • Send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Share account credentials with others
  • Exceed reasonable usage limits

Calendar Data

Your Content

You retain ownership of all calendar data you create or sync through Hetk.

Our Access

By using the Service, you grant Hetk permission to:

  • Read calendar events for synchronization
  • Create, update, and delete events as directed by sync rules
  • Store encrypted copies for service functionality

Data Protection

We encrypt sensitive calendar data and comply with GDPR and CCPA. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using Hetk, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

Service Availability

Uptime

We strive for 99.9% service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.

Modifications

We may modify the Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated with 30 days notice when feasible.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We are not liable for:

  • Data loss due to sync failures
  • Calendar conflicts or double bookings
  • Third-party service outages (Google, Microsoft, Apple)
  • Unauthorized access due to compromised OAuth credentials

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (minimum €100)
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • We are not liable for lost profits, data, or business opportunities

Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia and the European Union.

Informal Resolution

Before filing a legal claim, you agree to try resolving the dispute by contacting us at support@hetk.io.

Jurisdiction

Any legal proceedings shall be brought in the courts of Estonia.

Termination

By You

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

By Us

We may terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent activity
  • Abuse the Service

Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your access to the Service ends
  • Calendar sync stops immediately
  • Your data is deleted within 30 days

General Provisions

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Hetk regarding the Service.

Amendments

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified via email.

Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

No Waiver

Failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.
